Player works perfectly and being region free, the reason it was ordered, make it worth the cost.The only negative point is the remote does not work past fifteen feet, which is bothersome since it is used in a classroom. This would not a problem in a home.
I bought this player to watch DVDs with different region codes or PAL videos from Europe. I have purchased modified units in the US and they wore out in less than a year. It not only plays DVDs from anywhere in the world, it also plays the newer Divx video format. Highly recommended for international film and television watchers on a budget. This one is new and manufactured to watch any DVD. Why waste your time and money on mod units.
The shipping and delivery are really fast and the price is very good also, considering what your getting. I don't know what the others who gave this a bad rating are talking about. I bought this and it worked right out of the box playing all my foreign dvds without having to enter any code whatsoever. I recommend this to any and everyone who want to play foreign dvds on ntsc tv sets. Terrific Product.
this dvd player was easy to setup and plays the region 2 dvd's perfect.you have to put a code in before it will work. bought this to play region 2 dvd's from amazon germany. i enjoy watching bonanza when i'm working out on the treadmill and the only place to buy bonanza season by season is amazon germany. if you look at some of the other reviews someone explains how to do it very easily. hope this helps
I've had this DVD player for a little over 2 months now and haven't had any problems at all. It plays DVDs and DIVX exceptionally well. If you take a moment to read the instruction manual, you'll see that it will fast forwards and rewinds just fine. :)
